waking is a sin

when dreaming is your religion

sinning is abrupt endings

   and blurry edges

 is my fading joy

   and hot tears

when i realize your not here-

   not even real

Everything is free

not just me and

the people, amorphic

and dancing across my mind

behind my falshing eyes

me so we both could see 

each other; clearly

But I forget - I digress - 

I forfeit - I lose

so save your lecture, sister

   from your golden cistern 

i need to hear it like i need another one of you

you could at least have the courtesy

to finish me off
